Pre-finished and engineered flooring can be ideal for some peoples wants and/or needs. Some people don't care for a floor that is not solid. If the customer wants quality wood; pre-finished flooring can be just as conventional. It also cuts down on deforestation and some pre-finished and engineered can be refinished just as many times as solid flooring.

IOH upstair renovation
This project was an upstair floor renovation. We started by moving furniture and removing carpet. Then installed wide, heart pine flooring throughout the entire upstairs. After we prepared it by sanding to the proper grit, the floor was finished using the Bona stain and water based finishing system.
This was a one day job, removing carpet and installing laminate flooring. When installing a new floor, we do everything possible to avoid using transition pieces, such as T-mouldings. We also installed shoe moulding, caulked and filled nail holes in the same day.
Install, Sand and Finish
This was a project on Broughton St. done with reclaimed heart pine. We used oil modified polyurethane to ensure high durability and the deep oil tones you won't get with a water based product.
